Pneumatic air preparation group example

This example shows a complete pneumatic air preparation and distribution group used to prepare the compressed air supply before it is delivered to the pneumatic equipment in the machine.

The incoming compressed air enters the assembly through the pneumatic connection -PNE001-WN1 and is first supplied to the air preparation group. The assembly is based on an MS6B air preparation system and contains several components that condition and control the incoming compressed air.

The first component is the manual shut-off valve -QM1, which allows the compressed air supply to be manually isolated when required for maintenance or servicing.

The air then passes through the filter regulator -QN1. The filter removes contaminants from the compressed air, while the regulator maintains the required downstream operating pressure.

The prepared air then passes through the branching module -XPN1, which provides a connection point for distributing the pneumatic supply.

The circuit also includes the soft-start / quick-exhaust valve -QN2. This component controls the pressurization and exhaust of the downstream pneumatic system and provides a controlled way of bringing the pneumatic circuit into operation.

Finally, the prepared air is connected to the multiple distributor -XPN1, which provides several pneumatic outlets for supplying the individual pneumatic circuits and devices in the machine.
